Cultural Champions from schools and arts organisations - as well as community organisations keen to extend their cultural links - came together for the launch of CCEP's 'brilliant' new resource.
The launch of 'Brilliant Ideas 2 - Productive Partnerships and Creative Collaborations' took place on 29th March at Metropolis, in Coventry city centre.
The new resource - which will be distributed to Cultural Champions and available for download - is the second toolkit from the CCEP aimed at helping educators, support workers and creatives to work together; the first 'Brilliant Ideas' booklet is available to download from here.
'Brilliant Ideas 2' was created by Nicola Richardson from Vortex:Creates, who worked with Cultural Champions attending our 2022 Conference to plan a series of prompts, challenges and inspirations to help those working with children and young people to think about the shape, purpose and content of creative partnerships. Launch atendees heard from Open Theatre about their approach to partnership working and got the chance to use the resource and discuss how it might be used in classrooms, galleries, museums, theatres, community settings... everywhere there is a commitment to learning through culture and creativity.
