
Schools in Coventry will be enjoying a bumper programme of arts this summer as Coventry Schools' Arts Week descends on the city.
Art, crafts, music and dance are all set to feature in the Coventry Schools' Arts Week from 23 to 28 June 2025, bringing a host of free cultural and creative experiences to the city's young people.
Pupils will be taken on an interactive musical journey as a ten-piece CBSO ensemble deliver a performance inspired by the Wizard of Oz.
The fabulous Butterworth Hall at Warwick Arts Centre will be the venue for a day of music celebratrion as school choirs and musicians converge for a programme of daytime and evening performances.
Artworks from Coventry schools will be showcased in this dedicated exhibition at the Herbert Art Gallery which will remain throughout Arts Week and on through the summer

This promises to be an extravaganza of music and dance performance as schools come together to perform a special musical version of the Lady Godiva story, inspired by the book 'Lady Godiva's Birthday Suit' by local author Aaron Ashmore

Closing off the week in style, the 'booknic' is a reading picnic that encourages people to relax, eat and chat about books. Launching with a parade of banners, this is an informal, free event for families to come along and enjoy a range of activities linked to reading, sport and arts.
