Over 90 young people attended the free CCEP half-term programme over three creative, cultural days at Sidney Stringer Academy.

The CCEP would like to say well done to all the young people who joined us for three days of dance, music, movement, digital arts, animation and performance at Sidney Stringer Academy between 25th and 27th October.
You can see some of the work created by the young people on our YouTube channel.
Thanks also to our excellent colleagues Cheryl and Sarah from Highly Sprung Performance - who brought the whole programme together so well - and to our delivery partners for providing such engaging and creative activities: Ascension Dance; Coventry Music, Highly Sprung, Let's Animate, Ludic Rooms and Motherland Music.
Day One: over 90 young people took part in a rolling programme of activities, working with all six creative companies to 'give it a go'. At the end of the day each young person chose which art-form they'd like to 'make their own' on Day 2.
Day Two: in groups, the young people worked with their chosen company to 'make it their own'; developing their skills and technical knowledge, as well as their teamworking skills.
Day Three: Celebrate! Parents, carers, friends and families joined us in the Sidney Stringer Theatre for a final celebration of the young people's work over the three days. We saw presentations from two music groups with a mix of digital and live tracks, parkour / movement sessions, dance presentations, a digital installation and animations on the big screen.
You can see more images on our Gallery page and our social media channels on Facebook and Twitter. We're also bringing together all the feedback from young people who took part and the creative companies we worked with, to make sure we capture all the great stories and to make sure future events are as fun, engaging and creative.
This programme was open to all 7-14 year-olds in Coventry and all activities, facilities and equipment was free to all participants, as well as lunch on each day.
The 'Give it a go; Make it your own; Celebrate' event was funded through the CCEP's 'Partnership Investment' programme, made possible by Arts Connect and Coventry City Council.
